Mini Boots Haul

I went into Boots on Thursday just to have a look at new make up launches. I noticed as I was approaching the make up stands that there were a 3 for 2 on most make up brands and a spend £12 get a free blusher or eyeshadow on Bourjois.

First I went to Rimmel and picked up another Wake Me Up Concealer in ivory, as I find that this is one of the only drugstore concealers that's creamy enough for skin.

Also I picked up another Apocalips in Stellar. I love the colour pay off of these and the consistency. When I can't be bothered to put a lip liner and lipstick on my hand always goes straight for this, when I need to put lip balm on these apply amazing over the top of it.

After seeing the advert on TV to many times, I decided I needed to try one of the Rimmel Lasting  Finish Colour Balm in On Fire. After trying this yesterday it has entered my to go to lip products, the colour payoff of this is great and also is very build able if you want a stronger lip.

Then too the the Bourjois stand only so I could get the free blusher, I picked up 2 of the Colour Boost Glossy Finish Lipsticks in Red Sunrise and Orange Punch. I have only used the Orange Punch one so far and I found it was nicely pigmented when swatched but when applied to the lips today I found it didn't have a good colour pay off but it is build able.
The free blusher I picked up was the Little Round Pot in Rose Coup De Fourde as I didn't like the colour of the other blusher and the eyeshadow. I love Bourjois blushers as I find they are very pigmented so a little goes along way, it also has a lovely shimmer which will be nice in the summer.

I hope you found this helpful and let me know if you have any products for me to try let me know.

                                                            Bye for now.

About Us

This is just a short post to introduce ourselves, we are two sisters Kerry Louise (Lou) and Abigail Jayne (AJ). We decided to start this blog as we both like talking about beauty with each other and giving each other advice and products to try, so we thought we would share that with you.

So here's a bit about ourselves, I'm Kerry, I'm 19 years old and live in Leeds, I decided to start this blog with my sister as we have different opinions and beauty likes. I started wearing make up in my early teens and like most young teens starting out with make up I had my fair share of make up disasters, as I wasn't very educated in make up back then I didn't know the right foundation for my skin as I suffer from eczema so that never looked very good and I typically wore the wrong shade and didn't know how to blend so my face was a different colour to my neck, with that disaster also came using some of my mums fake tan on my legs and forgetting to put some on my feet, but with these disasters I learnt a lot like a good skincare routine and how to not apply fake tan. I also have experience in dying my hair blonde in my early teens but I will write a full blog post about that so none of you make the same mistake I did. Thanks for reading this little introduction about me, my sister's going to waffle on about herself now.

I'm AJ, I've just turned 18 and live in Norfolk. Me and my sister are the complete opposite as you will be able to tell from reading what my sister likes and what I like. Growing up I wasn't interested in hair and make up when my sister was. I was the tomboy of the family but now as I'm getting older, I started to take an interest in wearing make up and trying out new hairstyles, now you can't get me away from the mirror. But like my sister I did make a few make up mistakes but I will write a blog post about that... So this is me :)
